Haunted house with a difference between day and night

Europa-Park, Haunted House The Villa 2012

In 2012, from Germany’s largest amusement park, Europa-Park, Leisure Expert Group received the assignment to design three haunted houses. One haunted house had to be suitable for both the 16+ visitors to the bloody Halloween Horror Nights and for the day visitors (families) to the Europa-Park attraction park.

PROJECT MANAGER

“The Villa is our answer to the demand for a multifunctional event. The idea? During the day, an amazing environment for children from approximately aged 6 to 12 years. As soon as darkness falls, one press of a button transforms the ‘Villa’ into a gruesome night-time experience.”

Thanks to the ingenious show control system, sound and lighting effects transform the friendly family villa into a dark Haunted House.

THE FINAL RESULT

One location, one house, one theme with 2 experiences: bloody horror with a high scare level as well as a fun exciting environment for children from aged 6.
